MBTA-Lookup is a new tool that lets you easily look up the departure time of the next MBTA bus via SMS on your cellphone. To use it, send a text message from your phone to the email address 'mbta@schmiddy.homeftp.org' with a body in the following form:
which will soon (within 2 minutes) send an SMS to your phone with the departure time of the next Inbound #96 Bus. Similarly, for the departure time of the next Outbound #96 bus, send the message:
I haven't gotten around to saving the timetables of too many buses (just #94 and #96 so far) but it won't take long.
